How techsale works
We don't invent discounts. Every price on techsale is the seller's own price, checked against their live product record and against other sellers before you see it.
1. We sweep retailer catalogues
An automated importer runs continuously across tech categories and pulls live products straight from retailers' own product records — title, gallery, description, variants, stock status and price.
2. Price is verified against other sellers
Before a product is listed we re-price it against other shops selling the same item. Products are compared with three or more sellers where enough listings exist, which is what produces the market low / median / high shown on a product page.
3. Guest checkout and cart checks
We run a real add-to-cart request to confirm the unit price and quantity you'd actually be charged, and we exclude retailers that force you to create an account before buying.
4. AI rates the deal
Each product gets an AI score built from the discount versus its own tracked price history, the seller, buyer ratings published by the merchant, availability and condition — plus a written verdict with pros and cons.
5. Prices keep being re-checked
Live listings are re-evaluated on a rolling schedule. Every price we see is written to that product's history, so the sparkline and 'lowest tracked price' come from real observations, not estimates.
6. You buy at the retailer
techsale is a discovery layer, not the seller. You fill in your details once and we hand you to the retailer's own checkout with the item and your details pre-filled. The retailer takes payment and ships the order.
What the price on a product page means
- Seller's charge: the amount the retailer will bill in their own currency at their checkout.
- ≈ converted estimate: the same amount in your country's currency, using a live exchange rate. It is an estimate — your card issuer sets the final rate.
- Delivered total: when you save a shipping address, we ask the retailer for their real shipping quote for that address and add an import-tax estimate only when they aren't already pricing for your market.
- Reference price: the retailer's own compare-at price. Our tracked highs and lows are shown separately in the price history.
